Manual of Administrative Law – v. 4

This manual presents, in a clear and objective way, the principles, concepts and an overview of the legislation and jurisprudence of contemporary Brazilian administrative law. Divided into four volumes, it offers a solid basis on essential topics, such as sources, principles, organization of the Public Administration, public agents, administrative functions, acts, contracts, administrative processes, state assets, control of the Administration and responsibility of state entities. In addition to exposing the main chapters of the matter and their reference laws, it discusses controversial issues with doctrinal and jurisprudential support. For further study, each chapter includes indications of national works, judgments and relevant precedents. The fourth volume, in a systematic way, addresses the controls of the Administration, followed by the explanation of each of the modalities of liability, namely, administrative, disciplinary, improbity, corruption and non-contractual civil liability.
